Health, Safety and the Environment
The SLP Group takes pride in its meaningful approach to health and safety management and conservation of the environment. The prime objective is to ensure that all of its operations are carried out safely and efficiently with no harm to people or damage to plant, equipment or the environment.
All personnel receive a thorough safety induction and are trained in safe working procedures and implementation of risk assessment. Managers and Supervisors attend the IOSH ‘Managing Safely’ Training Course (Institution of Occupational Safety and Health).
In addition, SLP also operates a Safety Observation Scheme (SOS), which is designed to encourage all staff to work safely and to observe, action and report matters of concern using SOS observation cards.
